Best Hulu Halloween Streams

It’s that time of year again! Spooky time! And sometimes it can be really hard to keep track of what’s on streaming services. It can be a little overwhelming at times. Especially during Halloween. So I put together a list of all the best things happening on Hulu this month. I’ll give you the rundown and why I think it’s worth a watch. It won’t be everything that’s coming to the streaming service for the month, just some of my favorites and ones I’ve checked out myself. But as a spooky season girl, I’ve watched a whole lot! So keep reading for my list of best Hulu Halloween streams!

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

Okay, so this one is a little bit of an oldie. I can hardly believe it came out twelve years ago. That one definitely has me feeling a bit old. But anyway, super solid movie. We have a pretty solid cast with Dominic Cooper, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Anthony Mackie, to name just a few. Plus Tim Burton produced it. Need I say more? I will, just in case. Does it have a silly premise? Sure, kind of. But that doesn’t make it any less fun. It takes Abraham Lincoln and turns him into a badass vampire hunter. I know I’m in! It hit Hulu on October 1st.

Annabelle Comes Home

If you’re into the Conjuring series, this is one for you. And let’s be honest, who the heck isn’t?! She may scare the crap out of me, but I am a big fan of the Annabelle movies. They’re so good and so well done that it’s almost worth the nightmares they give me. Almost. This one puts Ed and Lorraine’s daughter, Judy, front and center.

They think all is well since the creepy ass doll is locked up with the rest of their cursed objects. But she has different things in mind as she begins toying with all of those cursed objects. And tormenting Judy in the process. This is another one that hit Hulu on October 1st. So be sure to catch it while you can.

Edward Scissorhands

Is it scary? Scary good! Definitely a great movie if you’re looking to keep your spooky evening a bit on the lighter side. There are some laughs to be had, for sure. But there are definitely some darker elements at play as well. Some may say there is a life lesson to be had from it. But if that’s the case, I certainly have not ever been able to find it. Though it is another Tim Burton special, and I think we all know what that means. Hulu hitting us in all the nostalgic feels with this one on October 1st.

Joy Ride

Another oldie, but a goodie. This one hit screens twenty three years ago! That one doesn’t make me feel quite as old because I was only nine when it came out. So I definitely didn’t watch it when it was brand new. It does give us a nice glimpse at the amazing acting skills Paul Walker always had.

Now this one does have a valuable life lesson to be learned and it’s to never mess with a trucker over the CB radio. Or he may go on the hunt to kill you and all your friends. No big deal.

The Sixth Sense

If you weren’t scarred for life by this movie at a young age, what the hell kind of childhood did you have? Did you live under a rock? I certainly had the rite of passage nightmares. Because I will never forget little Mischa Barton shoving that box from under the bed right at Haley Joel Osment’s character. Oh, it doesn’t sound that scary? Well Mischa Barton’s character is dead. And she doesn’t exactly look her best. She also went the creepiest way possible in getting his attention. So there. Just watch it. You’ll see. Along with the pattern developing, it joined the Hulu lineup on October 1st.

Ready or Not

I watched this one as soon as it came out and I have rewatched it more times than I can count ever since. You will probably feel better about your annoying in-laws after checking this one out. Because they can’t possibly be as bad as Grace’s. And if they are, you best be running quick. Because this game of hide and seek is only going to end in blood and gore.

And death. There are some definite twists and turns throughout the movie to keep you guessing about what is going to happen next. And the ending will probably be a shocker as well. Once again, Hulu hits us on October 1st.

The Purge

Ending this list with another classic, this one really gets you thinking. What would you do if crime was legal for 24 hours? Would you be one of the ones committing crimes? Or would you lock yourself away, maybe take a vacation to somewhere else where purging doesn’t exist? This one is definitely a bit psychological in that way. But it is worth the watch. You have Ethan Hawke leading the way and things are not always what they appear. You know the drill, Hulu is hosting this one October 1st!
