Why We Need to Save ‘Fate: The Winx Saga’
There are so many reasons why Fate: The Winx Saga deserves to be saved. But I would have to say that the biggest one is because of the fans and their passion for the show, the characters, and the story. There are so many fans that have loved this show since day one. And they deserve to see where it goes next. With more than a movie to wrap things up. These characters aren’t done yet, not even close. So keep reading for why we want to save Fate: The Winx Saga and how you can help! We will also try to keep the article updated as things change!
Just Getting Into It
So we had the first season to set things up and tell us how the show reimagined the material that we were given as kids. And it introduced us to our beloved characters in a whole new light and had us just as involved as ever. And then we got the second season. Which really took us on a deep dive into the characters and the story. But things were just getting started. There is so much story left to tell. We’ve barely scratched the surface of who all these characters are to us in this version and what they are capable of. It’s not as if the stories have run out because there are endless possibilities for each character. Especially since new ones can easily be introduced each season.

I am not okay with this show coming to an end. And I’m really not okay with a wrap-up movie. Especially one that isn’t even guaranteed as far as I know. That’s just what is being hoped for and shopped it seems. But why don’t we shop it to other networks? It’s been done so many times before and it can be done again. If Netflix doesn’t want it, that’s fine. There are plenty of other networks out there and any one of them would be lucky to have this show in their lineup. Or Netflix can stop its pattern of canceling its own programming before really giving it a chance to shine and just renew it as we all want. They’ve done this too many times and left so many fans, including myself, hesitating to get involved with any of their original shows because they keep doing this.
What You Can Do Now
While it’s easy to feel helpless in situations like these, we certainly are not. We live in a time when social media enables fans to be heard like never before. Fans have saved so many shows over the years, especially in recent years. I absolutely believe that we can do it again. And while I haven’t heard of any specific items that can be sent to Netflix just yet, I’m sure one of the incredible fans of the show will come up with something. Then we can all bombard the network with that item in order to let them know what it is we want. But we can also bombard them with Twitter. Use the hashtags. Tag Netflix. Just be kind about it. We don’t want to threaten, bully or harass. We just want them to listen.
You can also sign the petition here. It was created on November 1st, the day that it was announced Netflix was canceling Fate: The Winx Saga. And in just a week’s time, the petition already has over 930 THOUSAND signatures. A number that is steadily climbing even as you read this. The fans have made their stance on the show and its cancelation clear. And their cause is one that all of us here at Cape & Castle support a thousand percent and then some. We are going to be here from start to finish, doing whatever we can as often as we can to show Netflix and every other network out there that we want this show back.
How We Can Help
We have signed the petition. And I am going to do my best to make sure this article stays up to date with any big news or things you need to know about any progress. But, I would love to give something back to the fans for all of their hard work. So, if you want to email me at sarahc@capeandcastle.com to let me know why you love this show and what it means to you, I can do a little something for all of you working so hard to save it. We will also be doing some giveaways themed for the show to help boost and keep up morale. And also just because we love this fandom and everything you are all doing to keep FTWS going.
