‘Walker’ Uniting Jared and Genevieve Onscreen Again

Remember when we watched season four of Supernatural? We know, it seems like such a long time ago. But we’re sure you remember watching the now married Jared and Genevieve onscreen. Ruby and Sam were a pretty volatile combination and nothing but bad news together. But the chemistry between them was pretty volatile too. Well, The CW is bringing this married couple back onscreen again! Walker is going to honor us with more Jared and Genevieve! Keep reading for more!

Walker Reimagined

We’re actually pretty excited to see a reimagining of the classic Walker, Texas Ranger series. And we couldn’t think of anyone better to lead the new series than Jared Padalecki. After so many years of Supernatural, we couldn’t imagine Jared not being on our screens every week. So that’s pretty exciting alone. We also have the amazing Lindsey Morgan playing a major role as Micki, one of the first women to hold the title of a Texas Ranger.

Additionally, Keegan Allen and Coby Bell will also be series regulars. Which makes for a pretty kickass cast and has us more than ready to start watching this one. But just when we didn’t think the casting could get better, it’s official that Genevieve Padalecki will be joining!

Best Flashbacks Ever

Of course, part of the show’s main description is that Cord Walker is a widower and Genevieve Padalecki will be playing his wife, the late Emily Walker. Which means that we will only get to see her in flashbacks. But we’re pretty sure this also means that we will spend those flashbacks sobbing. And that they will be the best flashbacks we’ve seen. We just know it. Emily Walker’s death is going to be a focal point of the first season, as Cord is suspicious about the way she died. We guess we’ll just have to wait and find out. We’re just glad to have Genevieve back on our screens!
