So keep reading for just a few of our favorites! Also, these are in no particular order because we just love them all!

The New Girl Group

You can’t ask us to pick just one friendship out of this group! The bonds between them are forever and so is the love. We have binge watched this series so many times and one of the best things about it is the friendship between each and every member of this little family. We can’t celebrate International Friendship Day without celebrating them!

The Friends Pack

Come on. You had to know that we were going to talk about this group. You just had to. Whether you watched Friends or not, you still know about the friendships on the show. Everyone does. So many memorable and beautiful moments and hilarious hijinks. The amount of love that pours out of every part of this group showed so many of us what true friendship is really about and we love to see it.

The Scrubs Gang

JD and Turk, JD and Carla, Turk and Elliot, Carla and Elliot. So. Many. Friendships. Individually the bonds between them are so awesome and unique in so many ways. But together as a group their friendships are even more incredible. They all work in a highly stressful environment, but no matter what happens, this group has always stuck together through it all. Through the ups and downs between them and supporting one another when things get rough, this gang owns our hearts.

Max and Caroline, 2 Broke Girls

These two support each other, no matter how broke they may be at times. They say never go into business or work with your family or friends, but Max and Caroline disregarded that. Sure, they had some difficult times with one another over the years, but they always worked it out. They are broke friends forever!

Lorelai and Rory, Gilmore Girls

International Friendship Day

These two brought a whole new dynamic to the mother-daughter relationship. They were best friends through and through. While sometimes the line did have to be drawn when Lorelai was acting as Rory’s mom and not as her best friends, watching these two figure life out and grow up together was a beautiful experience. We miss them!

Cory and Shawn, Boy Meets World and Girl Meets World

International Friendship Day

We couldn’t imagine discussing International Friendship Day without bringing up these two. Their friendship has been in households for years and years and what a beautiful journey it’s been. Cory and Shawn see the world so differently and have dealt with such contrasting experiences. But they support each other through it all. They aren’t afraid to be themselves around one another and it was a true pleasure not only watching them grow up, but getting to see their friendship all the way through adulthood as well.

Veronica and Wallace, Veronica Mars

We know, we know. We seriously hated that ending too. But, we will always love the friendship between Veronica and Wallace. These two have such an incredible bond and from the moment they met it was clear their friendship was going to be a freaking adventure! And it has been. Not afraid to call each other out on their shit but always supportive of one another, this friendship is one we will always cheer about!

Shay and Severide, Chicago Fire

Just thinking about the friendship between these two has us crying all over again. Sure, Chicago Fire is still going and better be for a very long time, but we won’t get to see these two together again. Another perfect example of two people who aren’t afraid to call the other out or tell them they disagree with a decision the other is making. These two had a bond so deep and it will never be forgotten. Excuse us while we go sob in the corner.

Leslie and Ron, Parks & Recreation

We love these two. And that’s something that we just cannot express enough. We have laughed our asses off at their interactions and shenanigans more times than we can count. But there is so much more to their friendship than that. Leslie never let Ron dissuade her from doing something she was passionate about, even if he was right. But Ron was also one of Leslie’s biggest supporters and she was always one of his.

Harvey and Mike, Suits

International Friendship Day

These two could be polar opposites at times and on the same word of the same page other times. When they fought, it could easily and quickly escalate into an all out drag down where things got broken. And when times were good, the bond between them was so beautiful it brought tears to our eyes. But that’s what friendship is. It’s ups and downs, loving each other at your best and worst times. And Mike and Harvey were quite the sight of friendship on our screens.

We could literally go on all day and continue our walk down memory lane. But we’ve got to end sometime and Mike and Harvey seem as good a friendship to end on as any. We hope you’ve enjoyed this little walk down memory lane on this International Friendship Day. Maybe we’ve even given you an idea of a show to go back and binge again so you can witness the friendship all over again.
