Descendants, Descendants 2, & Descendants 3
These movies are absolutely incredible and it’s one of my favorite movie series ever. Sure, they’re intended more for the younger crowd, but I love them all the same. It’s the kids of all our favorite fairy tale characters. Who wouldn’t want to watch that?! From Maleficent to Gaston and every hero and villain in between. These movies have amazing callbacks to our favorite classic characters. But just because you’re the kid of villains, doesn’t mean you have to be a villain. Just like if you were born to heroes, it doesn’t mean you’re going to be one.
But these movies are more than their messages and good life lessons. They are fun, fresh and so entertaining! I’ve watched them all multiple times and I definitely recommend all three of them. You can watch them on Disney Plus!

Aladdin, Aladdin and the Return of Jafar, & Aladdin and the King of Thieves
Aladdin is an amazing movie and I’m sure that many of us have seen it at least a few times. Who doesn’t love to watch when this couple first fell in love over and over again? But I think people forget about the sequel. And I think even more people forget about the third movie. Now, many people will say the original Aladdin is the best and the other two don’t even compare. But I think they are all great and I strongly recommend watching all three.
The relationship between Aladdin and Jasmine only grows in each movie. The character development is actually really well done in all three, and I think the revelations about where Aladdin comes from are pretty great as well. If you want to give this series a shot, all the movies are available on Disney Plus!

Mulan
This movie is such a classic and it’s one of my all-time favorites. The story of a girl just trying to save her father’s life. Mulan knew that if her father went off to war that he wouldn’t be coming home. But instead of accepting the rules and laws, Mulan decides that she’s going to bring honor to her family and spare her father, too. She meets some amazing friends along the way and she proves that she has what it takes to be a fierce and excellent warrior.
Mulan is a story that provides an excellent and inspirational role model for all women. It doesn’t matter what your age is, this is a powerful and heartwarming movie for all. If it sounds like one you’re interested in, be sure to check it out on Disney Plus!

Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Toy story 3, & Toy Story 4
When I was younger, I actually wasn’t a big fan of Toy Story or the sequel. When I did decide to watch them it was to watch Toy Story 2. And I liked it so much that I went back and watched the first one. Then I completely changed my stance and couldn’t wait for the third one to come out. I definitely wasn’t disappointed. But I never expected for there to be a fourth film! When it was announced, I was so excited and it certainly didn’t disappoint.
If you’re looking for a franchise that will give you an entertainment filled day, look no further. I absolutely recommend this series for people of all ages and especially for families. You can find all four Toy Story movies on Disney Plus!

Beauty and the Beast & Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas
Who doesn’t know this timeless classic? At the very least, I’m sure you know some of the songs from the first movie. As crazy as this sounds, I may actually like Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas better. First of all, it’s a holiday movie and if I’m ever given the option of movies, I don’t care what time of year it is. I’m definitely going to pick the holiday movie. But on top of that, I think I like that the back story was already set in the original movie so we get to see a lot more exploration of the characters along with meeting new ones.
So even if you have seen the original Beauty and the Beast, I would still recommend a rewatch. And if you haven’t seen the Christmas movie, what are you waiting for? Head over to Disney Plus and give them both a watch!

The Nightmare Before Christmas
So this movie may be mainly Christmas and Halloween, but I think it’s the perfect movie to watch anytime. And not just because it’s one of my all-time favorite movies in the whole world. It features at least a glimpse of every holiday and I think it’s a prime movie to watch any month and day of the year. Jack Skellington is sick of the same old thing and tired of either celebrating Halloween or planning to celebrate it. So he decides to try out Christmas and naturally, it doesn’t go as planned.
This movie is adorable, it’s fun and it has true love. Plus it’s all about different holidays! The songs are amazing and catchy and you are definitely going to want to check it out on Disney Plus!
I hope you are able to find a movie or two, or a whole franchise, to watch during your time at home!
