‘Shipperland’ Episode 2: Melissa Benoist & Chris Wood

For our second installment of Shipperland we decided it was best to discuss Melissa Benoist (Glee) and Chris Wood and the beautiful relationship they share not only on screen, but in real life. We also get a little heavy but that’s life. So let’s get into Shipperland episode 2!

True Love Does Exist

There is so much beauty when it comes to the relationship between Melissa and Chris and all the things they share. From the I Don’t Mind campaign, to Melissa coming forward with the truth about a previous abusive relationship. We love the relationship between Kara and Mon El just as much.

What they share clearly runs deep and we are so unbelievably grateful that Melissa and Chris have one another and we commend her on her courage for telling her truth and opening up to everyone about what she went through. We can’t imagine how difficult this has been for her and we stand behind her wholeheartedly.

Speak Your Truth

We went pretty heavily into domestic violence and IPV in this episode, but important issues like these ones can’t be ignored or pushed to the side. These are issues that we need to be talking about. They need to become a part of the conversation because they are happening.

We hope a day will come when we don’t need to have these types of conversations because it will no longer be a problem. But for now, don’t be afraid to tell the world your truth. We are here for you.
